How EDEN found success through happy accidents and jarring genre blending

When asked whether he would still define his music as “conscious,” referencing a Billboard interview with the artist from half a decade ago, EDEN pressed his lips into a sheepish smirk and shook his head, dismissing his response in the same way he would dismiss an awkward adolescent phase.  

“That was definitely a very different time to where I feel about that,” says EDEN. “That was really like an introspective kind of time for me and how I was creating music and I was writing. I don’t know what a one-word definition would be at the moment, maybe liberated?”

A billboard that reportedly sprung up in Los Angeles and San Francisco this week warned Californians against moving to Texas with an ominous reference to the Uvalde school shooting.

The billboard, whose creator remains a mystery, claims that the so-called “Texas Miracle” died in Uvalde, where 19 students and two teachers at Robb Elementary School were fatally shot in May.

Ateez hits new career high on Billboard 200 chart with ‘The World Ep 1: Movement’

  • K-pop boy group Ateez reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart with their new album “The World Ep 1: Movement.”
  • This is their first top 10 entry and highest on the Billboard 200 weekly albums chart, making them the fifth group to achieve a top three placement after BTS, SuperM, NCT 127 and Stray Kids.

KQ Entertainment’s K-pop boy group Ateez reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart Sunday with their new album “The World Ep 1: Movement.”

The album is led by the title track “Guerrilla” and is the group’s first top 10 placement and their highest entry on Billboard’s 200 chart. This also makes them the fifth K-pop group to achieve a top three position on the weekly albums chart, following BTS, SuperM, NCT 127 and Stray Kids

Big Bang comeback single ‘Still Life’ debuts at No. 1 on Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart

  • Big Bang reached a No. 1 placement on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales Chart for their new track “Still Life.”
  • The song also debuted at No. 24 on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart in the U.S., meaning the legendary group joins the likes of Blackpink, BTS and Twice in the top 25.
  • Other Big Bang songs like “Loser,” “Bang Bang Bang,” “Let’s Not Fall In Love” and “Flower Road” have all placed on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales Chart.
  • “Still Life” was highly anticipated by fans, as it’s the group’s comeback after a four-year hiatus.

On April 12, K-pop boy group Big Bang made a big bang on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart, reaching a No. 1 placement for their recent comeback single “Still Life.”

The song is the group’s fifth track to achieve the top spot on the chart. Big Bang songs “Loser,” “Bang Bang Bang,” “Let’s Not Fall In Love” and “Flower Road” all previously also placed No. 1 on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart.

South Korean pop group ITZY’s highly anticipated first full-length album landed the top spot on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart, which ranks the top-selling albums of the week based on album sales.

Itzo loco: “Crazy in Love: The 1st Album” made its remarkable Billboard debut at No. 1 on the sales chart after selling 22,000 copies in the week ending Sept. 30, reported Billboard.

BLACKPINK’s Lisa has been making waves in the music industry with her two-track solo debut “Lalisa,” with her newest achievement being that she is the first Thai artist from a South Korean label to top the Billboard rap charts. 

As she should: According to Forbes, the Canadian rapper Drake’s single “Way 2 Sexy” from his new album “Certified Lover Boy” was the No. 1 bestselling rap song in the U.S., but now Lisa’s single “Money” has beat it, putting Drake in second place.
