K-pop girl group FIFTY FIFTY has made history by entering Billboard’s Hot 100 chart at No. 100 just four months after their debut.
The group’s latest single, “Cupid,” became a viral hit on TikTok, which helped make them the fastest K-pop act to ever enter the chart. They join other prominent K-pop groups like Wonder Girls, BTS, BLACKPINK, TWICE and NewJeans as the only Korean groups to chart on the Hot 100.
The Hot 100 is a weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States based on album sales, streaming activity and radio play.
FIFTY FIFTY is a four-member group managed by Attrakt consisting of Aran, Keena, Saena and Sio.
They debuted with their extended play “THE FIFTY” and its lead single “Higher” in November 2022.  “Cupid” is a part of the act’s single album, which also comes with an English-language version of the song called “Cupid Twin Version.” Keena is credited as a writer for the hit single.
