The First Lady joined President Moon Jae-in to watch the international K-Pop sensation perform at the 2018 Korea-France Friendship Concert in Paris last Sunday night.

During the show, the First Lady was filmed in the audience section dancing and singing along to BTS’ hit single “Idol.”
Along with performers MoonGoGo and Black Spring. BTS was representing the “Resonance of Korean Musicians” at the event which aims to highlight the friendly relations between France and South Korea during Moon’s state visit.
After the show, the First Lady and President Moon Jae-in even met BTS members Jin, Suga, Jimin, J-Hope, RM, V, and Jungkook backstage… and it’s hard to tell who among them was the most star-struck.

Images of the First Lady, President Jimin, and the Bangtan Boys taken from the backstage were later posted on the band’s Official Twitter page.  
President Moon congratulated the band on topping the Billboard 200 twice with their song Idol last month. In a tweet, the President wrote: ‘Huge congratulations to BTS on topping the Billboard 200 for the second time!’

The First Lady has also previously given each of the boyband members commemorative watches with their names engraved. “I’m proud of you. I sincerely congratulate you. ‘Through music, you are a source of strength for young people by representing their anxieties and worries about their futures,” she said.
