Social media user questions why BTS’ Jungkook is ‘always talking in Korean’

Just before BTS was snubbed for an award at the Grammys on Sunday for the second year in a row, an exasperated Jungkook responded to a social media user who questioned why he was “always talking in Korean.” 

The superstar K-pop group’s youngest member was answering a series of questions from followers through his Instagram Stories on Saturday. Most of the questions were initially asked and answered in Korean until one unnamed user chided him for speaking in his native tongue.

Jungkook, whose real name is Jeon Jung-kook, was filmed enjoying a meal from Chipotle after BTS’ most recent performance on “The Late Late Show With James Corden,” when he referred to the restaurant chain as “Chicotle.”The viral video was posted over the weekend to the group’s official YouTube channel BangtanTV as part of their Bangtan Bomb series and has received more than 4 million views as of this writing.

BTS fans, also known as the ARMY, are trying to make #dziendobrytvnisoverparty go viral on Twitter after the TV show Dzień Dobry TVN ridiculed one of their idols Jungkook in a segment about TC Candler’s “100 Most Handsome Faces” list for 2019 on Tuesday, according to Radiozet.
