BTS’ Jungkook released his highly anticipated solo debut single “Seven” on Friday.
About the song: “Seven” features Grammy-nominated American rapper Latto and comes in both a clean version and an explicit version.
“Every hour, every minute, every second / You know night after night / I’ll be lovin’ you right seven days a week,” Jungkook sings during the song’s chorus.
According to a recent press release, “Seven” has a “light-hearted melody” and is “a fun summer song that puts its spin on the UK garage genre.”

South Korean actor Han So-hee (“Nevertheless,” “Soundtrack,” “Gyeongseong Creature”) plays his love interest. Latto also makes an appearance in the music video.
On producing “Seven”: Jungkook spoke about the process of creating his solo debut, saying, “This is my first time working on the [UK garage] genre, and the production process was very fresh and new. I also learned a lot from recording ‘Seven.’”
