Park officials in India were chased by a tiger while riding their motorcycles at the Muthanga Wildlife Safari in Wayanad, Kerala State, which is home to about 100 tigers.

The intense moment, which was captured on video and shared on the Facebook page of Forests and Wildlife Protection Society, sees the two national park officials patrolling the area after they received reports of a tiger sighting in the area, according to Hindustan Times via AsiaOne.

An elderly man who thought it would be a good idea to feed circus animals with banknotes ended up losing two of his fingers after a caged tiger bit his right hand and refused to let go.

Identified only by his surname Bai, the 65-year-old man sustained his injuries when went to see the visiting circus in Jingziguan, Henan Province on Wednesday afternoon, according to the South China Morning Post.
