Korean Mom ‘Reunited’ With Her Dead Daughter in VR

Aided by virtual reality technology, a South Korean mother was recently “reunited” with her daughter who passed away in 2016. 

“I Met You,” a televised documentary from the Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation, told the story of Jang Ji-sung, a mother whose 7-year-old daughter Nayeon died of an incurable disease. The program uploaded a touching clip of the virtual reunion on its YouTube page on Thursday. 

Taiwan Set to Debut World’s First Chinese VR Porn

An upcoming VR porn film will make its debut in Taiwan next month making it the first-ever Chinese-produced pornography in virtual reality. The reason for China’s seemingly non-existent porn industry is because pornography is strictly prohibited in the country.

A California media startup specializing in virtual reality has recently been accused of sexual harassment, sex and gender discrimination and wrongful termination by a former employee.

Elizabeth Scott, former Director of Digital and Social Media of UploadVR, filed a suit against the firm and its co-founders Will Mason and Taylor Freeman, reports TechCrunchFreeman is currently the company’s CEO, while Mason holds the president post.

Japanese Sex Festival Forced to Shut Down Because Too Many People Want to Try VR Porn

Japan recently held its first virtual reality porn festival, but the event was prematurely cut due to overcrowding. Formally dubbed Adult VR Fest 01, the gathering featured sex toys, simulation gadgets and other equipment living up to promise.

Unfortunately, the festival had an unprecedented crowding that extended to the street outside the venue. Some even thought that disorder could occur if organizers failed to keep things under control. Once and for all, the festival was called off.
