An upcoming VR porn film will make its debut in Taiwan next month making it the first-ever Chinese-produced pornography in virtual reality. The reason for China’s seemingly non-existent porn industry is because pornography is strictly prohibited in the country.
With that said, Chinese porn film producers are becoming a rarity nowadays, until just recently that is. According to resonate, production company Pandora Move is looking to release the first Chinese VR porn film that utilizes a local production team.
While the film will be featuring Japanese models and actresses, everything else from the screenplay to filming, will be done by a local Chinese team. Pandora Move vice chairman Ding Baoshan explains that when it comes to VR films, pornographic movies are the most profitable.

Adult movies are the only one with a proven track record for monetization”, Ding added. After all, reports claim that people spend a whopping $3,075 per second on porn-related content found on the internet.
Pandora Move is now bankingon the VR adult film industry given the success of American adult video companies like Naughty America. As a matter of fact, Naughty America’s staggering 433% increase in revenue comes from its VR-related adult content.
However, the VR porn films industry doesn’t just thrive purely on customers seeking for entertainment. Other establishments such as sperm banks are already utilizing adult VR films in helping sperm donors with their deposits, according to TheMemo.
Now that VR Porn is being used in establishments beyond the constraints of the internet, expect an increase in its demand as well. It won’t be a surprise if other adult film production companies decide to take a plunge into VR pornography given how fast its niche is growing.
