Video: Man filming woman in public restroom learns his victim is a black belt the hard way

  • CCTV video captured the moment a Thai man was beaten by a woman with a black belt in Taekwondo after he tried to secretly film her in the women’s public restroom.
  • After the woman noticed the man’s phone peeking over her stall, she chased him outside and beat him before snatching his phone and deleting the video.
  • The 17-year-old suspect stated that he was “drunk and reckless” and publicly apologized to the media for filming the woman.

After a Thai man attempted to secretly film a woman in a public restroom, he was immediately chased and beaten by the victim, who happened to have a black belt in Taekwondo.

On Sunday, a 17-year-old man allegedly entered the women’s restroom in a Japanese restaurant located in Chachoengsao district, Thailand, and attempted to film a woman in a stall.

  • On Monday, 28 people were charged for the brutal assault of four women at a barbecue restaurant in Tangshan, China, on June 10.
  • The accused allegedly had been committing crimes since 2012, including robbery, operating illegal casinos, intentional injury and illegal detention of others.
  • In a separate investigation, authorities said they are investigating 15 officials for corruption involving “evil organizations” that are associated with the attackers.
  • Eight civil servants were detained on suspicion of accepting bribes and offering protection to the defendants.
  • Netizens continue to call for more action toward gender equality and stricter laws and sentences for assailants.

A Chinese court has charged 28 people for allegedly being involved in the brutal assault on four women at a restaurant in northeast China two months ago. 

In the CCTV footage that made international headlines, a group of men were caught on camera violently beating four women at a barbecue restaurant in Tangshan on June 10. A woman can be seen being dragged by her hair, hit with bottles and repeatedly kicked in the head.

  • A boy in China was caught trying to hide his homework in a display refrigerator at a shopping center in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province.
  • The boy takes out a notebook from his backpack and quickly leaves it in the freezer while checking that no one around him is watching.
  • A store employee discovered the notebook and identified the boy through CCTV.
  • The boy and his mother returned to the store and the notebook was handed back along with a complimentary box of stationary.

On Aug. 16 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province of eastern China, a young boy kneels in front of what appears to be a display refrigerator inside of a store. He pulls a notebook out of his backpack as he cautiously checks his surroundings. He then quickly places it inside the display refrigerator and walks away. 

YouTuber gets scam ring in India arrested after hacking into their office’s CCTV cameras

  • A YouTuber known as Scambaiter allegedly hacked into the CCTV cameras of a scam ring office and posted a detailed video of the entire process.
  • In the 20-minute clip, viewers are given a look at CCTV footage taken from June 13-24, beginning with video of the alleged scammers at work posing as Best Buy’s Geek Squad tech support employees and ending with their arrest by local police in Punjab, India.
  • Scambaiter regularly uploads scambaiting videos on their channel in which they “destroy scammers” by “hacking” into their computers.
  • As shown in the video, the scam ring office looks surprisingly similar to any other office, with rows of desks neatly sectioned off by dividers.
  • Footage of several calls made out to potential victims are also included in the video, with the scammers charging $339 for fake firewall services.

A YouTuber allegedly hacked into the CCTV cameras of an India-based scam ring office and gathered enough evidence of fraud to alert local police, which ultimately led to five arrests.

The most recent video uploaded by Scambaiter on Sunday, titled “I Got Scammers ARRESTED On Their CCTV Cameras!”, has garnered nearly a million views at the time of this writing.

China’s Spring Festival Gala, the world’s most-watched television show with a reported 700 million viewers according to Time, sparked global outrage when it used blackface in one of its skits.

The skit in question, which was aired on the state-run China Central Television (CCTV) network, featured renowned Chinese actress, playwright and producer, Lou Naiming, in blackface and wearing fake buttocks, What’s on Weibo reported.

Army veteran Mik Laverty was reportedly in Phuket to celebrate his 50th birthday when he was robbed at gunpoint by attackers at a marketplace last Thursday. In his complaint to the police, Laverty reported that the incident resulted in a broken leg for him.

Woman Blames GPS For Making Her Drive the Wrong Way on Highway in China

A woman was caught on CCTV camera and fined for driving slowly down the fast lane of the wrong side of a highway in Shandong Province, China. When questioned by authorities, she put all the blame on her GPS for making her do so.

The Chinese woman explained she had no idea that she was on the wrong side of the road last week, but claimed that she was driving carefully. Police officers told the traffic offender that she already covered a distance of 10 kilometers (6 miles).
