A flight training school in Texas is facing a lawsuit from the aggrieved family of a Chinese student who committed suicide after allegedly being mistreated at the institution.

Yan Yang, 21, was found dead on the morning of April 16, 2019, in his dormitory at the Denton-based U.S. Aviation Academy (USAA), also known as U.S. Aviation Group (USAG).

TJ Kim, a high school sophomore at Landon School in Bethesda, Maryland, was honored with five others on May 1 for their volunteerism in a presidential ceremony at the White House, recognizing “hard work, heroism, and hope.”

TJ Kim, a 16-year-old sophomore at Landon School in Bethesda, Maryland, was brainstorming with his family on how to best serve his community. They eventually came up with Operation SOS – Supplies Over Skies, according to Associated Press.
