Vanessa Hudgens, Lilly Singh to host ‘Countdown to the Oscars’ pre-show

The Filipino American actor and Indian Canadian YouTuber, along with model Ashley Graham, will go live prior to the prestigious awards ceremony on Sunday

Vanessa Hudgens, Lilly Singh and Ashley Graham have been revealed as the celebrity hosts of ABC’s upcoming “Countdown to the Oscars” pre-show, which will air prior to the prestigious awards ceremony on March 12.
Hudgens, 34 will return for her second consecutive year, while Singh, 34, and Graham, 35, will host for the first time. The pre-show will also feature backstage and insider coverage from content creator Reece Feldman and TV personality Rocsi Diaz.
The pre-show will air on ABC at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT.

A24’s hit film “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, leads this year’s Oscar nominations with 11 nods, including Best Picture, Best Director (the Daniels), Best Actress (Michelle Yeoh), Best Supporting Actor (Ke Huy Quan), Best Supporting Actress (Jamie Lee Curtis and Stephanie Hsu).
Besides Kwan, Yeoh, Quan and Hsu, other artists of Asian descent are nominated this year, such as actor Hong Chau (Best Supporting Actress, “The Whale”) director Domee Shi (Best Animated Feature, “Turning Red”) and writer Kazuo Ishiguro (Best Adapted Screenplay, “Living”).
The 95th Academy Awards, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, will take place on March 12 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
