Elon Musk denies affair with Google founder’s wife, shares photo of himself partying with Sergey Brin
Elon Musk has taken to Twitter to deny the reported affair he had with Nicole Shanahan, the ex-wife of his longtime friend and American business magnate Sergey Brin.
The Tesla founder reacted to a report from the Wall Street Journal on Sunday that alleged he had a brief relationship with Shanahan in Miami in early December last year.
Traditionally, deciding whether to acquire a company comes down to a number of variables that often relate to finances — like revenue, cash flow and sales. For Google founder Larry Page however, his approach is actually quite simpler.
Using something called the “toothbrush” test, he poses the following question whenever he considers an acquisition: Is it something you will use once or twice a day, and does it make your life better?
Kanye West lit up Twitter yesterday with a flurry of tweets that revealed a $53 million personal debt before begging billionaires Mark Zuckerberg and Larry Page for money to fund “Kanye West ideas.”
Right before his appearance on “Saturday Night Live,” where he performed two songs from his newly released album, “The Life of Pablo,” West went on a cryptic Twitter rant/meltdown.
Glassdoor just released their annual list of the Highest Rated CEOs of 2015. CEOs of large companies (1000 employees or more) are rated by their employees on Glassdoor. Ratings for the top CEOs of small businesses (1000 employees or less) can be found here.
Rounding out the top five is Google’s co-founder Larry Page in first with a 97% approval rating, Nike CEO Mark Parker, Texas-based HEB grocery store CEO Charles Butt, Facebook’s very own Mark Zuckerberg, and Scott Scherr, CEO of Ultimate Software.
When billionaires Elon Musk and Larry Page are not busy having slumber parties, they are meeting in Google’s secret apartment to plan their world domination.
The apartment is located in one of the taller buildings in downtown Palo Alto and has a private chef on call to make food for guests. There, Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin occasionally meet with Musk to talk about technology and transportation, according to Ashlee Vance’s new book “Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future.”
It turns out that even billionaires need a buddy with an extra bedroom (or six) to sleep over at sometimes.
In Ashlee Vance’s new book, “Elon Musk, Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future,” set to be released May 19, Google co-founder and fellow billionaire Larry Page reveals that Elon Musk hits him up every week to crash at his Silicon Valley mansion. Page explains in the book:
In 2013, billionaire Elon Musk’s electric-car company, Tesla Motors, was only weeks away from becoming Google Motors, or whatever other name Google co-founder Larry Page would have dreamt up.
