The annual awards ceremony, whose winners are determined by Nickelodeon fans and voters from around the world, will be hosted by Charli D’Amelio and Nate Burleson and held on March 4 at 7 p.m. (ET/PT) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles
In the music categories, BLACKPINK are nominated for Favorite Global Music Star and Favorite Music Group, the latter category being shared with BTS. Both BTS and BLACKPINK have been KCA nominees in the past.
Last year at the 2022 KCAs, BTS won Favorite Music Group for the third time in a row, thereby breaking their own Guinness World Record for the most Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards blimps won for Favorite Music Group.
Other music nominees this year include Joji for Favorite Breakout Artist and Bella Poarch for Favorite Social Music Star.
For Favorite Female Sports Star, Chloe Kim and Naomi Osaka are both nominated, while “Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope” and “Pokémon Scarlet and Violet” are both nominated for Favorite Video Game.
In the acting categories, Dwayne Johnson has two nominations: one for Favorite Voice from an Animated Movie (Male) for his role as Krypto in “DC League of Super-Pets,” and one for Favorite Movie Actor for “Black Adam.”
Meanwhile, Olivia Rodrigo is nominated for Favorite Female TV Star (Kids) for “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.” Sandra Oh and Awkwafina are both nominated for Favorite Voice from an Animated Movie (Female) – Oh for “Turning Red” and Awkwafina for “The Bad Guys.”
Projects that involve API talent which have received nominations in film or television categories include “Ms. Marvel,” “Cobra Kai,” “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,” “Black Adam,” “DC League of Super-Pets,” “The Bad Guys,” “Minions: The Rise of Gru,” “Turning Red,” “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” and “Young Rock.”
Additionally, content creators such as Ryan’s World, SeanDoesMagic, The Bucket List Family and Ohana Family Adventure have all received nominations.
