Netflix has released a teaser trailer for its upcoming survival reality show “Zombieverse.”
About the show: The upcoming “never-before-seen zombie variety series” follows a group of contestants who must find ways to survive in an infected city as zombies run rampant. If a contestant is “bitten” by a zombie, they must leave the show.
“In Seoul, where a zombie virus outbreak has run amok, who will outwit the undead in the face of challenging quests and come out alive?” the show’s Netflix description states.
Choreographers of the Korean horror series “Kingdom” and the art team behind hit show “All of Us Are Deadreportedly worked on “Zombieverse,” which was first announced earlier this year. Its first teaser was shared on July 10.
Key people: The show’s cast includes South Korean comedian Park Na-rae, “Sweet Home” actor Lee Si-young, “Singles Inferno” star Kim Jin-young and “Talents for Sale” co-host Ro Hong-chul, among many others. It was created by Park Jin-kyung and Moon Sang-don.
Release date: “Zombieverse” will be made available to stream on Netflix on Aug. 8.
