Netflix has decided to cancel two of its popular reality shows, “Bling Empire” and its spinoff “Bling Empire: New York.”

Bling Empire,” which first premiered in January 2021, focuses on the lives of wealthy Asian Americans in Beverly Hills, while the spinoff “Bling Empire: New York,” which debuted in January 2023, follows a similar theme in the Big Apple.

Described as the “real-life Crazy Rich Asians,” “Bling Empire” depicts the lives of a group of extremely wealthy Asian Americans, including Christine Chiu, Kane Lim, Kelly Mi Li, Kevin Kreider, Gabriel Chu, Anna Shay, Cherie Chan, Jessey Lee, Kim Lee, Andrew Gray, Jamie Xie and Guy Tang.

The show’s first two seasons were well-received by audiences, leading to a third season with 10 episodes, compared to the previous two seasons which had eight episodes each.

Netflix has decided to cut the series and its spinoff, with no fourth season for “Bling Empire” or a second season for “Bling Empire: New York” in the works.
