“Bling Empire” star Kelly Mi Li has given birth to a baby girl with her partner, William Ma.
The couple welcomed their daughter Mili on April 9 shortly after midnight, making her an Easter baby born in the year of the rabbit.
The reality star, film producer and entrepreneur shared the news on Instagram along with photos of her, Mili and Ma.
Happy birthday to our little Easter bunny 🐰 After a little over 24 hours of labor, you’re finally here! There’s so much love and kindness you are surrounded by, and so many people for you to meet. Welcome to the world, we can’t wait to show you around!” Li captioned her post.
“William and I are incredibly grateful to have gone through this journey of pregnancy, with the love and support from all of our friends and family, and Dr. Meschter and her staff at Cedars Sinai,” Li told People.
In an interview with E! News in November 2022, Li called Ma, whose identity was previously kept under wraps, the ”perfect” partner for her.
“He is so great with kids honestly,” Li said. “I could not ask for a better partner and he’s perfect in every way.”
The following month, Li revealed their baby’s sex during an intimate picnic. Ma went on to make his first public appearance at their baby shower in February.
Li, who divorced Lin Miao in 2015, met Ma in San Francisco in October 2021.
Ma, a San Francisco police officer, was patrolling the streets when he came across “Bling Empire” star Kane Lim, who then introduced him to Li. The couple met during the rise of anti-Asian hate crimes, when Asian American and Pacific Islander groups were urging former District Attorney Chesa Boudin to address the issue.
“We connected later on because we share the same passion for what we do, which a lot has to do with giving back to the AAPI community and fighting for hate crimes,” Li previously said in a YouTube video.
