A new trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s highly anticipated horror film ‘Knock at the Cabin’ has been released.

The trailer, which was shared on Christmas Day, shows a family of three – a couple, played by Jonathan Groff (“Hamilton”) and Ben Aldridge (“Fleabag”), and their daughter, played by newcomer Kristen Cui –  taken hostage by four armed strangers named Leonard, Redmond, Adriane and Sabrina.

Helpless in a remote cabin, the family is told by Leonard, played by Dave Bautista (“Dune”), that they must make a difficult decision to save the world.

“Families throughout history have been chosen to make this decision,” he says. “Your family must choose to willingly sacrifice one of the three of you to prevent the apocalypse.”

The upcoming film is based on Paul G. Tremblay’s 2018 novel “The Cabin at the End of the World.” In addition to Groff, Aldridge, Cui and Bautista, it also stars Rupert Grint (the “Harry Potter” franchise), Nikki Amuka-Bird (“Persuasion”) and  Abby Quinn (“Little Women”).

“Knock at the Cabin” will hit theaters on Feb. 3, 2023.
