“Everything Everywhere All at Once” filmmakers Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, collectively known as the Daniels, might have been involved in an upcoming “Star Wars” project.
According to One Take News, the Oscar-winning director duo is believed to have directed at least one episode of the Disney+ series “Skeleton Crew,” starring Jude Law.
Filming for the series, which follows a “group of kids lost in the galaxy, trying to find their way home,” started in the summer last year and finished in recent months, The Hollywood Reporter reported.
A complete list of the series’ cast and crew members has yet to be released, but the upcoming Disney+ show reportedly hails from Jon Watts, the director of Marvel’s most recent “Spider-Man” film trilogy. Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, who are behind hit TV shows such as “The Mandalorian,” executive produced “Skeleton Crew.”
The Daniels have had a busy year since “Everything Everywhere All at Once” hit cinemas in March 2022.
In the past few months, they have received several prestigious awards, such as the Directors Guild of America’s top award.
Meanwhile, “Everything Everywhere All at Once” won several Oscars, including the prestigious Best Picture award, in the last month alone.
