BLACKPINK’s Lisa is teaming up with BIGBANG member Taeyang for their first official collaboration.
Lisa will be featured in Taeyang‘s upcoming album, “Down to Earth,” which is set for release on April 25, Osen first reported.
Taeyang’s agency, THEBLACKLABEL, recently confirmed the news to The Korea Herald.
Lisa will also notably appear in one of Taeyang’s music videos for his new album. This marks her first time collaborating with another South Korean soloist, having previously teamed up with international artists DJ Snake, Meghan Thee Stallion and Ozuna on the song “SG” in 2021.
Taeyang debuted as a member of BIGBANG under YG Entertainment in 2006. In December 2022, he moved to YG Entertainment’s subsidiary label, THEBLACKLABEL, following contract expirations. In January, he released the solo single “Vibe” in collaboration with BTSJimin.
Meanwhile, Lisa, who debuted as part of BLACKPINK under YG Entertainment in 2016, will be joining her fellow group members at Coachella this weekend, becoming the first K-pop act to headline the popular music festival. BLACKPINK are currently on their “Born Pink” world tour.
