An online bakeshop based in Parañaque, Philippines is making people’s mouth water with a unique dessert — a cake made with a popular daily drink, Yakult.
Created by Melange.ph, the Yakult Cake is another way to consume a favorite milk drink.
The cake, which is a tres leches-inspired dessert, combines a spongy, buttery cake and the soothing, satisfying flavor of the Japanese drink, according to
Spot.ph.
Fans of the drink can now place their orders for the six-inch cake by messaging Melange.ph on its Instagram page for 450 Philippine pesos ($9).
Payments can be made either through bank deposits or via Globe telecom’s Gcash. Melange.ph can arrange the delivery via Grab or Lalamove after the customer gives their necessary details like name, contact number, address and orders.
Melange.ph posted a brief video showing the ingredients for its simple, cream-colored Yakult Cake, which consists of eggs, butter, flour and bottles of the drink.
