An Indonesian bride recently made headlines for receiving Coldplay tickets as her dowry.
On Sunday, Twitter user @orangdalamkamu, the brother of the groom, posted a video of the bride’s father at the wedding.
“I betroth you my daughter Anastasya Ayu Widiadana with a dowry of 21 grams of gold, a set of prayer clothes and Coldplay’s concert tickets,” the bride’s father told the groom, as per The Straits Times.
The groom can then be heard accepting the marriage.

During marriage ceremonies in Indonesia, it is common for the dowry to be announced, according to Mothership. Dowries are typically given to the bride by the groom.
Several Twitter users were amazed at the unique dowry.
“[This man’s] battle is cool, because the ticket war is not easy,” one user said, as per Mothership.
“Full of struggle,” another user tweeted, referring to how difficult it was to acquire the highly coveted tickets.
Coldplay will perform in Jakarta, Indonesia, on Nov. 15 as part of their ongoing “Music of the Spheres” world tour.
This will be the renowned British band‘s first time ever performing in Indonesia.
On Friday, Tem Management, one of the world tour’s promoters, announced that all tickets for the upcoming Jakarta concert are now officially sold out.

If this happened on campus, Stanford should issue a clear public update and specific safety actions.

Agree. People need facts and process, not silence. The school should confirm what is being investigated.

Also important to separate verified details from rumors so this does not spiral online.

The death threat part is extremely serious. Hoping law enforcement and campus security are already involved.
