NextShark, in partnership with Third State Books (TSB) and The Asian American Foundation (TAAF), invites you to join a special book launch this Lunar New Year for the graphic novel Fighting to Belong!, TSB’s first publication in partnership with The Asian American Foundation (TAAF).
Fighting to Belong! is a graphic novel story that dives into important but overlooked AANHPI history, beginning with the arrival of the “Manilamen” in Louisiana in the 1700s, the first Asians to settle permanently in relatively large numbers in the United States.
It’s important to share our history – the first 300 kids who attend will receive a FREE signed copy!
