Singer Tiffany Young’s Tour Manager Tests Positive For COVID-19

Tara Redavid, aka Tara Anne, who works as a tour manager for Tiffany Young (Girls’ Generation), has reportedly been diagnosed with coronavirus (COVID-19).

To cover the cost for her treatment and other medical bills, a GoFundMe account has been set up for Tara. The friend who organized the campaign, known as Tom A., revealed that she has developed pneumonia as a result of contracting the coronavirus.

“Our friend Tara has recently learned she has come down with a case of Covid-19 caused by the Coronavirus strain, which has also resulted in her developing pneumonia as well,” wrote the organizer for the GoFundMe page. “As any of us would assume, this is an unexpected hardship to face physically and financially, which can require a little monetary support to get through it. Tara has played an important role for many musicians and touring artists, ensuring everyone is taken care of and in good spirits. Let’s help with doing the same for her.”

According to the campaign, the amount raised will be used to support Tara while recovering from the infection as well as pay for the still “unknown amount of medical expenses” she has incurred so far. The campaign, which aimed a goal of $4,000, has so far raised over $5,200 as of this writing.

“There will be limitations in health insurance and out of pocket costs for testing including an ER visit and medication costs, upwards of $500 at minimum. There is rent, bills, and a soon to be lack of health coverage on the horizon that monetary support can help supplement. Now is as great of time as ever to lend a friend a hand if we are in a position to do so- Tara surely would do the same.”

Tara has been Tiffany’s tour manager since 2019 and has accompanied the artist globally when she traveled to perform for fans. Tiffany has yet to make a public statement about Tara’s condition.

Aside from Tiffany, Tara has handled tours for notable artists such as Snoop Dogg, Indigo Girls, Joe Cool, The Naked and Famous, Zara Larsson, Chromeo, Brooke Fraser, Noel Gallagher and the High Flying Birds, The Hollywood Vampires (Joe Perry, Alice Cooper, and Johnny Depp), The Interrupters, and Dave Hause and The Mermaid.
