South Coast Plaza Presents Virtual Asian Pacific American Heritage Month Event

South Coast Plaza is proud to present its virtual event in honor of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month highlighting talented Asian performers, culinary delights and stories.

The event aims to celebrate vibrant Asian cultures and honor the contributions and influence of the Asian American and Pacific Islander community.  Event is created in partnership with Asian American Expo and all performances can be viewed at South Coast Plaza’s website. 

NextShark, South Coast Plaza Presents Virtual Lunar New Year Celebration

NextShark and South Coast Plaza are excited to partner once again to bring you the Lunar New Year Virtual Celebration for the Year of the Ox.

The event, which is now streaming on Facebook, features eight performances from international artists including an iconic lion dance, an Er-Hu performance featuring 41 musicians from around the world,  Sichuan Opera Face-Changing performance, a Guzheng and electric guitar duet from the world-famous Bei Bei & Jon Monter, a Pipa performance by Hollywood soundtrack artist Celia Liu, a Vietnamese drumming performance by Thien An Performing Arts, a K-Pop cover performance of Stray Kids’ “Black Door” by KKAP, and a Mongolian Bowl Dance performed by the Yaya Dance Academy.

NextShark and South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, CA are proud to present the Virtual Autumn Harvest Festival that is now available to stream below:

The event, which streamed on Facebook on Monday, September 28 at 7:00 p.m., features seven cultural performances from international artists including world-famous guzheng musician Bei Bei and guitarist Jon Monter performing “Loyal Brave and True” from the recent Disney film “Mulan”, singer Katherine Ho performing Coldplay’s “Yellow” in Mandarin as featured in the 2018 “film Crazy Rich Asians”, the Shanghai National Orchestra, the Shaolin Temple Cultural Center, and more.
