A Japanese schoolgirl is sweeping the internet with her superficial looks, except this girl is actually not a girl at all but an animated creation.
Saya is a 3D creation constructed by husband-and-wife computer graphics team Teruyuki and Yuki Ishikawa. They created the strikingly realistic school girl using computer animation techniques and 3D-modelling tools including Matya, according to Kotaku .
Teruyuki and Yuki are known for their lifelike work and are admired in Tokyo’s computer graphics community.
The freelance couple told Kotaku that although the Saya project is something they do in their off time, it is a project they are sincerely dedicated to:
“Since we’ve been working on this between jobs, it’s been somewhat hard.”

The couple agreed that achieving moist, soft and translucent skin is the most difficult part in creating Saya.
The project has plans to eventually evolve into an action film. The Tokyo-based couple released images of Saya’s body armor, but they did not release her face in the suit as they are still improving her hair and skin.
