Tech Billionaire Weds Playboy Model in Epic Wedding Ceremony
Robert Smith, the 52-year-old CEO of Vista Equity Partners, and 30-year-old Hope Dworaczyk, Playboy’s 2010 Playmate of the Year, married on Saturday off the Amalfi Coast in Italy — and their ceremony was nothing short of astonishing.
The wedding took place at Hotel Villa Cimbrone, one of the most prestigious and exclusive hotels in the Mediterranean.
The couple had all of the wedding’s equipment and amenities flown in by helicopter. The roads were reportedly “daunting,” so the couple had assembly crews take upwards of 100 trips back and forth from the island and the mainland, according to Page Six.
After the couple’s vows were said and the rings were exchanged, John Legend, Brian McKnight and DJ Cassidy performed live for the remainder of the night.
The wedding cake was around two stories high, and all the wedding attendees were dressed in the highest fashion, especially Dworaczyk, who was seen all weekend flaunting an array of designer dresses.
The couple also had an entire wall constructed just for Instagramming.
Smith is a co-founder of Vista Equity Partners, a private equity firm with $8 billion under its belt and deals exclusively in enterprise software, according to a 2014 New York Times profile.
Dworaczyk is the host and co-producer for “Inside Fashion” on the E! channel in Canada, and appeared on the 2011 season of “Celebrity Apprentice.”
Dworaczyk gained attention in April of 2009 when she was named Playboy Playmate of Month and was featured on the cover with Seth Rogen. In 2010, she was named Playmate of the Year, solidifying her as one of the most beautiful women to ever walk through the Playboy Mansion.
