Alexis Ohanian, Reddit founder and serial internet entrepreneur, delivered an inspiring speech (above) to students last month at Howard High School.
When he finished speaking, however, he was promptly dismissed by the school’s principal, Gina Massella, who said Ohanian was an embarrassment to the school for his use of profanity in the speech.
In his speech, Ohanian encouraged students to pursue opportunities outside of their comfort zone. He told the students that while they may fail at first, it’s a part of the journey to success.
