Nissin Foods USA have launched a limited-edition, breakfast version of Cup Noodles, their popular instant ramen in a cup.
Cup Noodles Breakfast is “artificially flavored as maple syrup pancakes, sausage and egg” and has a saucy texture that turns into broth when mixed with hot water.
The new flavor, which costs $1.18, became exclusively available at select Walmart stores and on the retailer’s website on Wednesday. Similar to other flavors, it’s ready to serve in just four minutes.
In a press release, Nissin Foods USA Senior Vice President of Marketing Priscila Stanton claimed that the new flavor will satisfy Cup Noodle fans’ cravings at any time of the day.
We know our products are a go-to meal any time of the day. Saucy, soup-based, spicy, sweet or savory, we even added rice to some, so by adding Cup Noodles Breakfast to our line-up we are truly feeding cravings around the clock – morning, noon, night or late night.

Some social media users appear to be intrigued by the new product, while others are completely on board with it.
“Ohhh nice! I’ll look for this! But I’m a bit nervous of those flavour,” a Twitter user wrote.
Cup Noodles Breakfast is Nissin‘s second limited-edition flavor in the U.S., following the surprise launch of Cup Noodles Pumpkin Spice in 2021 and its subsequent revival last year.
In Japan, the company has launched its own unique products, such as Cup Noodle Soda and Cup Noodle Potenage Big, a variant that combines the flavors of chicken nuggets, French fries and instant ramen.
