Elon Musk’s SpaceX unveiled the interior for their new spacecraft, the Crew Dragon, on Thursday.
The interior of the highly anticipated aircraft was created to give SpaceX astronauts the comfort and functionality needed to make the journey across space.

Designed to transport astronauts to the International Space Station, all the functions can be controlled by SpaceX’s mission control on Earth or autonomously by the astronauts on board.
The advanced emergency escape system is state of the art and passed the screening tests in May. The built-in Environmental Control and Life Support System (ECLSS) will allow astronauts to adjust the temperature anywhere from 65 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
NASA and SpaceX currently have a contract and will begin sending astronauts to the International Space Station in 2017.
