New SM Entertainment boy group RIIZE unveil 1st single at KCON LA

SM Entertainment’s new boy group RIIZE has released their prologue single, “Memories.”

Unveiling “Memories”: The group showcased the track for the first time on Sunday during KCON LA 2023’s “SHOWCASE: NICE TO MEET U” event. They also performed the song during KCON’s Day 3 pre-show concert.

Music video: On Monday, SM Entertainment released the official music video for “Memories,” which was shot in California.

Introducing RIIZE’s web novel: In tandem with the group’s debut, SM Entertainment joined forces with Kakao Entertainment to introduce “Rise & Realize,” a web novel written by No Gon and illustrated by Nak Di. Spanning eight episodes, new chapters are to be posted on Kakao Page every Saturday for three consecutive weeks.

Meet the members of RIIZE: RIIZE has seven members. Among them are Korean American member Anton, former NCT U members Shotaro and Sungchan, SM Rookies Eunseok and Seunghan and newcomers Sohee and Wonbin. The name RIIZE is a fusion of “Rise” and “Realize.”

Mark your calendars: On Sept. 4, the group will release their debut single album, “Get a Guitar.”
