“Avatar” fans have a plethora of new content to look forward to in the coming years.
Avatar Studios announced three animated films earlier this year, one of which will center around the original Gaang from “Avatar: The Last Airbender.” Netflix is also producing a live-action version of “The Last Airbender,” and although a release date has yet to be announced, new cast announcements have kept fans excited.
Fans took to the comments to express their excitement, with some also mourning the inevitable loss of Korra as each new Avatar is a reincarnation:
“My life span just got extended until at least 2025,” replied one user.

As Avatars are normally able to confer with their past lives, one user expressed hope that Aang would make an appearance despite Korra’s actions in her series:
“I hope you link the new one to Aang, let the new Avatar find a way to connect to the old cycle tho Korra broke it,” they wrote.
