Netflix’s reality competition show ‘Next in Fashion’ is back in season, except this time with new co-host Gigi Hadid.

The supermodel replaces designer Alexa Chung as co-host alongside Tan France. In the trailer, Hadid is seen modeling on a runway before France tells her to cut it out, saying she has actual work to do. This newest season will be comprised of ten 45-minute episodes.

Asian American designer Bao Tranchi is among the 12 designers competing for the $200,000 prize this season.

The remaining contestants are Amari Carter, Courtney Smith, Danny Godoy, Deontre Hancock, Desyrée Nicole, Eliana Batsakis, James Ford, Megan O’Cain, Nigel Xavier, Qaysean Williams and Usama Ishtay.

“Next in Fashion,” which was originally canceled by Netflix after its first season, will return for Season 2 on Mar. 3.

The winner of Season 1, Minju Kim, has since designed for the likes of K-pop acts BTS and Red Velvet and launched her own collection at H&M, among other notable achievements.

Many people might not know this, but despite our large and loyal following which we are immensely grateful for, NextShark is still a small bootstrapped startup that runs on no outside funding or loans.

Everything you see today is built on the backs of warriors who have sacrificed opportunities to help give Asians all over the world a bigger voice.

However, we still face many trials and tribulations in our industry, from figuring out the most sustainable business model for independent media companies to facing the current COVID-19 pandemic decimating advertising revenues across the board.

We hope you consider making a contribution so we can continue to provide you with quality content that informs, educates and inspires the Asian community. Even a $1 contribution goes a long way.  Thank you for everyone's support. We love you all and can't appreciate you guys enough.
