Disney has dropped a new trailer for their Korean original series “Moving,” adapted from the webtoon of the same name by Kang Full.
A superpowered mystery: “Moving” tells the tale of a black ops team created by South Korea’s National Security Planning Agency in the 1990s. This elite group of super-powered individuals was tasked with executing classified missions to defend the nation and accomplish the impossible. But mysteriously, the team vanished without a trace, leaving behind a legacy shrouded in secrecy.
Decades later, the series picks up with two teenagers with exceptional powers: Bongseok, who could float before he could walk, and Huisoo, who survived a devastating car crash unscathed. The two find each other at the same school and quickly form a close bond, sharing their secrets and discovering others in the world with similar abilities. However, their carefree lives take a dark turn when a mysterious delivery driver named Frank begins murdering people with powers, unleashing fear across Seoul.
Cast and crew: The series boasts a star-studded cast, including Ryu Seung-ryong from “Miracle in Cell No. 7” and Han Hyo-joo from “Happiness,” with Zo In-sung making his return to K-drama since 2014’s “It’s Okay, That’s Love,” Lee Jung-ha from “Run On,” Go Youn-jung from Netflix’s “Sweet Home” and Kim Do-hoon of “Days of Wrath 2” fame. It was directed by Park In-Je, known for his previous work on “Kingdom” Season 2.
Episode release schedule: The show will feature a total of 20 episodes. The premiere will kick off on Hulu and Disney+ with seven episodes on Aug. 9. Subsequently, two new episodes will be released each week, leading to the series’ climax with a three-episode finale.
