Australian Indonesian foodie Adrian Widjy went viral for his DIY recreation of a popular Japanese and Korean drink at a McDonald’s with Sprite and milk.
The Instagram and TikTok content creator shared a video of his simple recreation of the Japanese drink Calpis and the Korean drink Milkis along with a cup of McDonald’s Sprite and milk on Jan. 17.
“So in many parts of Asia, there is this famous soft drink which is carbonated and milky,” he captioned his Instagram post. “Well, this is a way for you to DIY this at @mcdonaldsau 🙌🙌🙌 you just need sprite and milk 👌.”
Widjy, who has a TikTok following of nearly 135,000, demonstrated by adding milk to a large cup of Sprite and mixing it together with a straw.

“Get some Sprite and add milk to it! Just trust me!,” he wrote on the video. “I found the addition of milk to your Sprite brings a wonderful creamy-ness.” 
“If you grew up drinking milk by itself in a glass, this is the drink for you,” a TikTok user commented.
“Confused but intrigued,” an Instagram user wrote. 
“That sounds disgusting, I wanna try it,” another user said.
