Man Allegedly Gets Beat Up By Crowd For Spoiling ‘Avengers: Endgame’
By Ryan General
A man in Hong Kong received a nasty beating after reportedly shouting spoilers to the crowd waiting in line to see “Avengers: Endgame”, the latest film from the Marvel franchise.
The man reportedly started revealing details about the movie in a loud voice as he was exiting a cinema in Causeway Bay after having watched the three-hour film, TVBS reports.
Moviegoers lining up for the next screening were immediately annoyed after hearing the man’s movie spoilers. Others, however, were so infuriated for having the movie spoiled for them that they decided to assault the man.
When the image of the bloody man made rounds on social media, many fans believed that he got what he deserved for ruining other people’s enjoyment of the highly anticipated film.
“Avengers: Endgame”, the sequel of last year’s Hollywood blockbuster “Avengers: Infinity War”, is the culmination of 22 films ending in one climactic final battle.
Filmmakers Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, along with their star-studded cast, have been urging fans to stay tight-lipped after watching the movie under the hashtag #DontSpoilTheEndgame.
The film, which opened in many theaters in Asia on April 24th, was a massive hit, so far grossing a worldwide total of $1.209 billion as of April 28, 2019.
