A Filipino couple shared a video of their budget-friendly gender reveal in a toilet.
Unlike the extravagant gender reveal parties that make headlines, Banong Delos Angeles, a soon-to-be-dad from the Philippines, has caught on with viewers for hosting a low-budget reveal involving his home’s toilet
On New Year’s Day, Angeles invited friends and family to his house, where they gathered around a toilet surrounded by pink and blue balloons and metallic streamers.
“Press to reveal,” a handwritten sign on the wall reads.
The man counts down from five and flushes the toilet, revealing a stream of blue-colored water down the bowl to announce the gender of the baby.
Along with his friends and family, the man cheers and some guests can be heard yelling, “It’s a boy!”

“My son will be named Urbano Delos Angeles VI,” Delos Angeles told Newsflare. “I hope my guests enjoyed my low-budget gender reveal.”
Social media users are praising the man’s creativity and the “safeness” of the idea seen in his video.
“Revealing the gender and keeping the toilet clean. A gender reveal that multi-tasks,” one user wrote, according to India Today
“Gotta be the absolute safest I’ve ever seen,” one person commented.
“At least no fires were started,” another user said.
The original Facebook post garnered over 10,000 views.
