Donald Trump Has Impersonators in China and They Look Like, Well…

Li Liangwei, the retired editor of an arts magazine in Hunan province, has become China’s number one Donald Trump impersonator.
His life-changing experience as The Donald all started at the age of 64, when a friend told him he had an uncanny resemblance to the 45th president of the United States.
“I was kind of upset, so I put down my glass and rose abruptly, and with a sweep of my hand announced, ‘I have the say here!’ Upon that, one of my friends said, ‘You look like Mr. Trump, President of America.’ I had no idea who that was,” Li told Time Magazine in an interview.
He has since appeared in character at different events to bring in a large audience and promote a wide range of products.
Li had always shied away from politics, but the more he reads about Trump, the more he admired him.
“While the majority of elderly in China retire at home upon reaching their 60s,” he said. “Mr. Trump is still working hard and rushing about for his people and nation.”
Li added: “People always say I resemble Trump not just in appearance, but far more important, in temperament and spirit. The temperament and character quality of a great man are not built in a day.”

The popular Trump impersonator is not the only one to parody a political figure around Asia.
A fake Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un was seen in a fake make out session in Hong Kong back in January.
The Kim Jong-un lookalike was revealed to be a Hong Kong-based Australian musician, who goes by the name Howard, and Trump was played by 66-year-old American musician, Dennis Alan.
