A Chinese influencer claimed several angry fans of actor Dilraba Dilmurat stormed his office and attacked him for an edited video he posted showing him kissing the Uyghur superstar.
In a video uploaded to Douyin on Saturday, Hong Liang, a special effects artist and social media influencer, shows the scratches he allegedly received from a group of angry fans who attacked him for the edited video.
Dilmurat, 30, is a Chinese actor of Uyghur descent — China’s most persecuted ethnic group — who has over 78 million followers on Weibo.

Liang used artificial intelligence to superimpose his face onto “You Are My Glory” star Yang Yang during a kissing scene between the actor and Dilmurat in the 2021 romantic comedy series.
Hong’s AI-edited video reportedly went viral on Chinese social media before it was deleted and caused an uproar from some of Dilmurat’s overzealous fans. Some of the actor’s fans demanded Hong delete the clip, while others allegedly took more extreme measures.
A few Dilraba fans, who appeared to be in their 20s, tracked my location and came to the door of my studio, and this happened,” he wrote in a post, according to Oriental Daily News.
Social media users were reportedly shocked after Hong showed the aftermath of the altercation in his Douyin post, with one user saying the fans were “too crazy,” while others showed little sympathy.
I thought the fans were too much, but even after seeing this clip, I also feel like punching him,” one social media user wrote.
In another Douyin post, Hong advised young people in the post description to “study hard, pursue stars reasonably, and do it for yourself.”
