China’s first robot store opened last week and shoppers have already been flocking to the unique shop to check out the variety of artificial beings available there.
Located in the Hunan capital of Changsha, the Zongke Magic Robot 5S store opened its doors to the public on July 28, offering machine sales, second-hand robot trading and product maintenance, reported NetEase (via Shanghaiist).
At the entrance, a lifelike, humanoid woman robot greets customers while other robots are tasked to cater to their needs inside.
A crew of tiny robot dancers also entertain the guests by showcasing their moves on the floor.
Guests are also welcome to interact with the impressive speech-recognizing artificial intelligent robots that are programmed to acknowledge and respond to commands or queries.
Robotics has been gaining popularity in China in recent months with the launch of several function-specific machines earlier this year. Chinese firms have produced a variety of unique robots such as, self-parking robots, robot cops, badminton-playing robots, and robot assistants.  A Chinese university also claims to have developed the most realistic humanoid robot ever made.
