Running exclusively in South Korea, the campaign will kick off on January 21 and end on February 6.
Proceeds from the campaign will support career and educational development programs for disadvantaged young people via non-profit organization Beautiful Foundation.
According to the official Starbucks website, Starbucks stores across the country will offer “a variety of products in shades of purple reminiscent of a starry night.”
The featured beverage is the Blooming Purple Vin Chaud, which is subtly flavored with elderflower, grape juice and fruit, available both hot and iced.
Featured food items include the Blueberry Star Macaroon, Purple Berry Cheesecake and Purple Star Cupcake.
The starry purple pattern will also be featured on limited-edition merchandise such as mugs and glassware designed with real gold, pouches for tablets and laptops, and key chains.
Customers purchasing items that support the Beautiful Foundation will also get the chance to own Starbucks bags and cup sleeves in similar starry purple designs in limited quantities.
“The collaboration is the first step in Starbucks Coffee Korea’s year-long campaign to create opportunity for Korean youth throughout 2020,” a post on Starbucks’ site read.
“A portion of proceeds from the sale from the collaboration will help support career and educational development programs for young people leaving children’s homes to start their adult lives through the Beautiful Foundation’s Opportunity Youth Independence Project.”
Even after this collaboration, Starbucks Coffee Korea intends to continue its partnership with the Beautiful Foundation throughout the year.
