Bandai SPIRITS will release a golden cup edition of Nissin Cup Noodle to commemorate its 50th anniversary next year.
The “Golden” edition announcement was made through Bandai SPIRITS’ Twitter account last Friday and will be part of the company’s BEST HIT CHRONICLE series of nostalgic pop culture items, according to Hypebeast.
The special edition cup is set to be released as a 1:1-scale, snap-together model for easy assemble in just under five minutes.
However, this special edition ramen model is not up for sale. Bandai SPIRITS will reportedly raffle 50 of these “Golden” edition Cup Noodles only to Twitter followers living in Japan.
