4 of 5 Apink members depart long-time agency IST Entertainment

IST Entertainment, the long-time agency of K-pop girl group Apink, has announced that all members except for Jung Eun-ji have left the company.
In a statement released on April 28, IST Entertainment confirmed that Park Cho-rong, Yoon Bo-mi, Kim Nam-joo and Oh Ha-young have ended their partnership with the agency. The four members had been with the company since Apink‘s debut in 2011.
IST Entertainment clarified that the group will continue activities and are not disbanding.
We will continue our journey with Jeong Eun-ji, who recently renewed her contract with the agency. Jeong Eun-ji will be greeting [the fans] with new music and other activities in the near future. Separate from the exclusive contracts, all members of Apink have a strong will to continue group activities and have strong affections towards the group. There will be no disbandment, and group activities will continue.
After leaving IST Entertainment, the four members signed with Choi Creative Lab, which released a statement confirming that the group would continue to work together.
Apink recently made a comeback with their tenth mini-album “SELF” and its lead single “D N D.” The release marked their first as a quintet following the departure of member Son Na-eun last year.
