72-Year Old Grandpa from China Will Make You to Get Out and Hit the Gym

Despite the chilly weather, there is no stopping one 72-year-old grandpa from Chengdu, China from showing off his fit body.
A grandpa identified by his surname Zheng proved that when it comes to fitness, age is just a number. This grandpa made it a habit to exercise daily everyday for the last 12 years, putting men much younger than him to shame, according to Shanghaiist.
Even if the weather is slowly transitioning to winter, recent photos of the shirtless grandpa Zheng doing some exercises on the street have gone viral, with many netizens wishing they can be as fit as him when they reach the same age.
Seeing fit grandpas in Asia is not uncommon. In fact, DailyMail reported another fit 61-year-old grandpa in April. The grandpa, Liang Xiang, is another native from Chengdu who gained a lot of admirers online because of his toned physique.
Xiang started his fitness journey 10 years ago thanks to a friend’s advice. Since then, he has worked out regularly to achieve his rock solid abs. In addition, he also reduced his meat consumption and maintained a strict diet regimen which includes seven meals a day.
His purpose is not primarily for vanity — it’s not to show off his impressive abs. Grandpa Xiang was determined to become the oldest Chinese driver to compete in the South American Dakar Rally off-road car race, which he did back in 2012 with the help of his son.
