K-pop soloist and former Gfriend member Yuju has joined forces with South Korean rapper Big Naughty for the new single “Evening.”
The single, which was released today, is Yuju’s latest music project since the release of her solo debut mini-album “Rec.” in January, led by the title track and music video “Play.” Every track on the album was co-written by Yuju, and she co-produced the tracks “겨우, 겨울” and “The Killa.”
Big Naughty of H1gher Music released his album “Nangman” earlier this year, featuring artists such as Jay Park, Changmo, pH-1 and 10cm. The lead track “Romance Symphony” features Jay Park and Changmo.
Meanwhile, Yuju’s former group mates SinB, Eunha and Umji, who now make up the trio Viviz, dropped their second mini-album earlier this month, led by the title track “Loveade.” They also competed on the second season of the Mnet reality idol show “Queendom” alongside other female artists such as Loona, Hyolyn and WJSN. Yerin, another former Gfriend member, also released a solo project in May with the album “Aria.”
