XG’s Juria, Chisa and Hinata release cover of TLC’s ‘No Scrubs’

XG members Juria, Chisa and Hinata dropped a medley of covers on YouTube including TLC’s iconic hit ‘No Scrubs’.
The newest video commences with Hinata’s spin on Kriz and WOODZ’s 2018 song “Bad,” singing in both Korean and English. Juria follows by combining Hikaru Utada’s “Never Let Go” and Craig David’s “Rise & Fall” in a fresh remix. Both tracks notably sample the Sting track “Shape of My Heart.” Chisa concludes the solo performance portion with Michael Jackson’s classic “Rock With You.”

Other XG covers: XG’s other members have been showcased in their “XG TAPE” series, which include cypher video covers such as Jurin and Cocona’s spin on N.O.R.E’s “Nothin” and Maya and Harvey’s original bars set to Cordae and Anderson .Paak’s “Two Tens.”
Cocona previously went viral on TikTok for her trilingual rapping on a previous XG tape, which led soloist Jackson Wang to remark, “XG are the future.” Wang would go on to release a remix of XG’s hit “Left Right” with Ciara.
Recent and upcoming group activities: XG recently made their U.S. live debut at 88rising’s Head in The Clouds festival in New York. They are slated to perform at the Head in the Clouds festival in Los Angeles this August. Additionally, XG has been included in the artist lineup for KCON LA‘s “ NICE TO MEET U” showcase stage on August 20.
