See, if I were to explain, that would defeat the purpose! Although I will say, Base Line is my favourite track on the J-Hope mixtape. I also like Hangsang,” the 40-year-old actor and athlete said when asked about his cryptic K-pop posts last month.
What started as a happy accident has turned into something wonderful. I’ve been introduced to a new piece of culture, which I think is fantastic, because I’m learning through social media. It’s a very rare occurrence, so I’m very happy to say… yeah, screw it, I’m in.”
While some fans of Cena, K-pop, and BTS may find this surprising, others who have been following Cena may have already seen this coming.
On February 6, Cena posted a picture of J-Hope on his Instagram without adding any caption. And thanks to his Bio, which reads “These images will be posted without explanation, for your interpretation. Enjoy”, some followers immediately thought he was dropping hints that the 24-year-old artist, whose real name is Jung Ho-seok, is his favorite member of the group.
The cryptic posts did not end there. A couple of days later, he posted “MIC Drop,” one of the group’s popular songs, on his Instagram.
Then on February 15, he dropped another clue.
The last reference post he made for BTS was on February 19, when he posted J-Hope’s picture.
However, his knowledge of the group seems to be more in-depth than what some of his fans would expect.
On March 7, Cena casually posted a K-pop star known as Supreme Boi on his social media account.
Supreme Boi was actually one of the founding members of BTS; however, he reportedly left the group before they even make their debut. But he’s not technically out, though. Supreme Boi continues to work behind the scene as a producer with Big Hit Entertainment, helping to produce several tracks with Rap Monster and Suga.
Surprising, right?
Anyway, please give a big hand for the newest member of the BTS ARMY… and his name is
