Woman Claims She Was Raped By a Pokémon, Husband Urges Her to Seek Psychiatric Help

The assault, according to the unnamed victim, happened inside her room in her apartment in Moscow. Police said the complainant fell asleep while playing Pokémon Go, Daily Mail reported.

She reportedly discovered a giant Pokémon lying on top of her as she woke up. She claimed the virtual monster was raping her.

According to her claims, while the mysterious being miraculously vanished as she jumped out of her bed,
her Pokémon Go app was able to detect that the character was still on her bed. She then woke her sleeping husband to tell him what had happened. The husband, refusing to believe her story, advised her to seek psychiatric help instead.

The local authorities who received her report did not believe her either, so she sought the help of a psychic. Unfortunately, the psychic also failed to bring the erring Pokémon to justice. In the end, she followed her husband’s recommendation and booked an appointment with a psychiatrist.

“She says there are too many Pokémon at her place and even the dog can sense them. She says the dog barks whenever she plays Pokémon Go.” the woman’s friend was quoted as saying.
