Victoria Ogundipe, 27, has been charged with second-degree robbery and criminal obstruction of breathing

A woman has been arrested in connection with a robbery at an Asian restaurant in Long Island, New York, over the weekend.
What happened: Victoria Ogundipe, 27, allegedly left without paying after taking a bag with multiple food items from Kim Wong Chinese Kitchen on Merrick Road in Valley Stream at around 8 p.m. on Wednesday. A struggle ensued after a 54-year-old male employee followed her to retrieve the items.
Ogundipe allegedly punched the worker multiple times and knocked him to the ground. Afterward, she allegedly placed her hands around his neck, choking him.

The aftermath: The victim reportedly suffered multiple injuries, including a “substantial” laceration, severe swelling and bleeding to his right eye. He was taken to a hospital.
What’s next: Ogundipe has been charged with second-degree robbery and criminal obstruction of breathing. The victim, on the other hand, is expected to recover from his injuries.
