Why You Should Never Point a Laser at a Helicopter

Source: NextShark Editorial

What happens when you point a laser at a police helicopter? They find you, zoom up, and things basically turn into a game of Call of Duty.
The incident in the video takes place in the Canadian city of Vaughan in Ontario. Officers quickly arrived on the scene and charged a young man after he pointed a laser at a police helicopter.
In the United States, interfering with the operation of any aircraft by pointing a laser at it is considered a felony. It might seem like a harmless action, but it blinds the pilot and can cause accidents. Just don’t do it.

If this happened on campus, Stanford should issue a clear public update and specific safety actions.

Agree. People need facts and process, not silence. The school should confirm what is being investigated.

Also important to separate verified details from rumors so this does not spiral online.

The death threat part is extremely serious. Hoping law enforcement and campus security are already involved.

This is where official reporting and support channels need to be visible and easy to access.

Can NextShark keep a timeline thread here as updates come in? That would help keep context in one place.
