Here are some of the upcoming competitions of Team USA’s Asian American athletes to look forward to in the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics:
Nathan Chen
The 22-year-old Chinese American Nathan Chen is one of Team USA’s top stars in figure skating. He has already started off the 2022 Beijing Olympics with a historic performance that placed the U.S. figure skating team in the lead. On Feb. 7, he skated and spun his way to a new world-record score of 113.97 points in the men’s short program. Chen’s upcoming competition:

Chloe Kim

Madison Chock
The American ice dancer of Chinese Hawaiian and European descent is a two-time World medallist, three-time Grand Prix Final silver medallist, two-time Four Continents champions and three-time US National Champion. Chock and her partner, Evan Bates, recently won the free dance with a personal best score of 129.07 points, which helped earn Team USA its first silver medal in teams. Chock’s upcoming competitions:
